Welcome to the Boise Honor Band website! Here you will find information about the Honor Band including rehearsal information, performance dates, music recordings, audition materials, and any other Honor Band related information.
The Boise Honor Bands are two bands that consist of responsible, mature, and quality players, who would like more challenges than they may get at school. There are 2 different bands playing differentiated levels of music; the Boise Honor Symphonic Band, and the Boise Honor Concert Band.

The Boise School District Honor Bands are led by dedicated directors who support students in developing their musical abilities and growing as ensemble performers. Learn more about our Honor Concert Band director, Mr. Drew Flory, and our Honor Symphonic Band director, Mrs. Vanessa Perala.

The Boise School District Honor Bands offer dedicated 6th–9th grade band students the opportunity to grow as musicians, collaborate with peers, and perform outstanding music. Explore audition information, rehearsal schedules, and program details to learn how to participate in the Boise Honor Band season.

If you would like to donate to the Boise Honor Band program, you can use the direct donation page through the Boise School's Foundation. All donated funds will be used for the advancement of the honor band. We will purchase music, instruments, and other needed materials for the use by the honor band.
Please check with your employer, as many local companies will match donation to Boise School's Foundation accounts.

Concert Attire:
Your student will have two options for concert attire:
1. All Concert Black- Black dress shirt/sweater
- No t-shirts, sweatshirts, athletic shirts, etc.
- Black dress pants/skirt
- No jeans, sweatpants, yoga pants, shorts, short skirts
- Black dress shoes
- No tennis shoes, canvas shoes, flip flops, etc.
- Recommended, but not required: Black straight tie
2. Black and White
- White dress shirt/sweater
- No t-shirts, sweatshirts, athletic shirts, etc.
- Black dress pants/skirt
